On another note.....

Yeah, this may seem inappropriate, but.......
Why no one comment? Me comment on you entries if was in same situation...

Another Lesson Thang!

Okey dokey. Here we are again. So, we read two more pages of the Ernie's Incredible Illucinations script. We then proceeded to act them out. This was a scene set at the fair, so there was plenty of loudness and obnoxious....ness. Oh, and Tom (Bateman) doing a terrible impression of a police patrol car (try not to wrap your heads around this one, kids. Its an inside joke). I didn't think much of my performance. I think I could have been a lot louder and a lot obnoxious....ser. And.......... thats all I can remember. Probably shouldn't have taken that binge straight afterwards. Or that other thing...... In fact, forget it. I'm out. Peace!

Some lesson thang!

OK, I may have put this off until a week afterwards. In fact, I did. And now I can't remember what happened. Something about dragging around my corpse....
I don't thing Mr Penn will be a happy chappy (oh God, I'm an old person! Or at least I'm acting like one. You all know the one I mean).

Beh (bye)!

That Poem Thing

Well, here's the freaking poem.

If you project your voice,
You'll make a lot o' noise.
If you whisper,
You'll sound small and shy.
If you do an accent,
You won't sound like you-
If you talk for too long,
The audience will get bored!
If you talk too fast,
You'll sound like a bird!
If you're pitch is high,
Your eyebrows will reach the sky!

Sucks I know, but I didn't come up with it - they did.

That Thing That Happened

Ignore the other one. I don't know how to delete entries yet :).

Anyway, I am her to speak (or write) about the activity we did in Performing Arts today. Now, I don't remember much of what happened...

*Pause*

But in all seriousness, my memory is fuzzy. However I do remember that we did perform a segment of a play which required "multi rolling". Now, I cannot remember who played which character(s), but I do remember that the transition from characters went rather smoothly; the differences in voice, posture, etc. were very noticeable, and effective. Overall, it was very good. And, as is my new tradition (I hope it catches on) I will give both performances (we were in two groups) a number rating:

The other group= 6/10
My group= 6.5/10 (muahaha)

EDIT: I deleted the other one. Yay!

Evaluation

Today, I and my BTEC PA class watched back our performance of I Don't Like Mondays, which we had recorded previously. The main faults I find with it are:
  • The lighting
  • The Volume

I am not sure what it was, but the Lighting did not, how shall I say, do it for me. That may have been the actually Lighting as used or how it appeared on tape, but nevertheless, the quality was poor.

The volume was, at best, crude. Now the volume on the tape was not the loudest (although if it were I would be deaf right now), but in some parts (paticularily, mine) it was a lot quieter; I could not hear the dialogue at all sometimes!

In conclusion, I give it a 6/10.

I hope this entry has been enlightening.

Erin Walsh.
